The commercial radio channel Radio 3D Fm, Valencia, Spain has still got 'Fire' on rotation. This means taht every 2 or 3 days you can here 'fire' being played.
Alibi Tom appeared earlier this year on national swedish television performing a swedish 'eurovision' classic. We managed to get our hands on this little cozy live performance. The song is called 'Dansa i neon', it's swedish for 'dance in neon(lights)', do I have to say it's from the 80's.... Don't miss this little treat!

During Alibi Tom's tour in Holland in April, they got to play live at National Radio, Holland. In the program they were assigned to write a song in one hour! The title was given by someone calling in to the program.
This Summer(date to be confirmed), ALIBI TOM, the first band to be signed on LEON, a Swedish indie rock act is releasing their debut album 'scrapbook'.
'Fire' and 'Botanisten', the two first singles, are getting good feedback. You can download them for free on www.alibitom.com. You can also read about what's happening on Alibi Tom's blog.
Alibi Tom, 'Fire', will be played at Radio 3D FM, Valencia Monday to Thursday between 11am - 5 pm during two weeks. 'Fire' will after that be put on rotation.

ALIBI TOM consists of five music bred characters from Gothenburg, brought together by friendship and the commitment to pursue music. Originating from Classical, Brit Pop and progressive backgrounds, this broad musical awareness form a platform in the band. A visionary, an organizer, a doer, a diplomat and an enthusiast joined to mediate feelings, satisfy a need to create and inspire their surroundings.
The album could be described as energetic & inspiring with excellent melodies. You can hear the archetypal Swedish melancholy countered by an affirming warmth. There is a definite willingness to experiment and a refreshing honesty in the lyrics. Music intelligently put together, real yet filled with hope.
The recorded material is more worked through than any previous material recorded by the band. It has challenged, developed, demanded, frustrated, and inspired the band. For the first time working with a producer, Joakim Sehlstedt, 'we have gone from focusing on details to also looking at the entirety of a song', says Markus. The importance of an outside perspective looking at the material 'has helped us to extract what defines Alibi Tom musically and helped us to become clearer in our expression', Erik continues. Daring to experiment more during the creative process, Alibi Tom have founda more open and creative way to work out arrangements. As the recordingshave come to an end, the final touch was made by Johan Forsman, the Swedish producer and mastering engineer (with bands like 'Soundtrack of Our Lives', 'Silverbullit', 'The Bearquartet' and' 'The Caesars' on his resume list).

Well, here it is -”Dansa i Neon”- an old Swedish disco tune remade into Alibi Tomish sound and harmonies. This is the first time Alibi Tom is doing a song in swedish! The song was previously part of a longer interview broadcasted on a swedish digital tv channel earlier this year.
